Restaurants and Fine Dining is a luxury that not too many people can enjoy. But in Bali, you don’t need to worry about having to go to luxurious restaurants just to feed your appetite and fill your belly. Along the road of Kuta area, you will find various street vendors that offer delicious food with surprisingly affordable price. With delicious taste, warm and welcoming atmosphere, I’ll take you to the recommended street food vendors along Kuta :
1. Dimsum Manan
Located right across Dimsum Inc and Sunset Star in Dewi Sri area is Dimsum Manan. Dimsum Manan offers various dim sum options with affordable price starts from Rp. 14.000, you can taste the exquisite menus they offer. The recommended food here are Hakau, Wotiek and Chicken Feet (known as Ceker) that you can wash off with a cup of Chinese tea.
Address: Jl. Dewi Sri no 101, Legian
Open Hours : 4 – 11 PM
2. OTW Food Street
OTW Food street is a food place that serves various street food menus. Don’t be intimidated by its luxurious interior because OTW Street Food offers budget food with restaurant quality. The menu varies from Rice Bowl, Martabak, Soups to Noodles and Toasts. When visiting this place, you definitely should try their Martabak, Long John and Bakso Sumsum, with price range starts from Rp. 20.000 for toast or Roti Bakar and Rp.35.000 for main course.
Address : Jl. Dewi Sri I, Pertokoan Lotus, Kuta

3. Bubur Ayam Bang Yossi
Bubur Ayam or Rice Porridge is Indonesian styled porridge that is served in a bowl with soup, shredded chicken, crackers and fried garlic as topping. This legendary tavern was originated from Denpasar, but has opened their branch in Kuta. With only 1 type of food served, Bubur Ayam Bang Yossi might surprise you due to their delicious taste. Even better, you will get Chicken Intestine Satay on each portion served.
Address : Jl. Raya Kuta no 123
Open Hours : 24 hours
4. Warung Bunana
Warung Bunana is a unique tavern located in the corner of Jalan Raya Kerobokan and Sunset Road that sells various Roti Canai and authentic tasting curry as side dish. You can either choose their sweet or savory canai. If you are looking for heavier food, you can try their Nasi Kuning that will be served with a small plate of curry and wash it off with their famous hot or cold Teh Tarik. Their Pisang Susu and Egg Canai will make you want for more
Address : Jl. Sunset Road no 28
Open Hours : 10 AM – 10 PM
5. Bakmie Betutu
Bakmie Betutu specialized in Indonesian style noodle influenced by Chinese noodle. You can either choose Chicken, Duck, Beef or even Pork for the topping that you can enjoy either with or without the broth because the noodle itself is already very tasty and delicious. The beautiful mixture of the thin and soft noodle will taste even better with the topping. My recommendation for the topping is Char Siu and Crispy Pork Belly, price range starts from Rp.25.000.
